When a daughter is born she should receive a Hebrew name. Traditionally, the baby is named on the first day the Torah is read following her birth. I will gladly do that for any family without obligation.

If you would like to have a special gathering at a later date to celebrate the birth of your daughter, I will be able to help you plan for this ceremony called a Simchat Bat. It is similar to a Bris without the “procedure”. The ceremony involves the family and other important participants using blessings, prayers, poetry and song to honor the baby.
